Artist's Comments

a quick (1 hour) drawing of the most beautiful woman I have ever seen...

Original photo: [link]

*update* I cropped the image because I focused all my time on the top anyway... I was unhappy with the bottom...

what happenned to her nipples?

Misery....
:iconnapoleoman:
they are still there, heh. But I am just not interested in the "private parts" that I find tend to distract both myself and the viewer.
:iconcursedonez:
well i see but i have to disagree its not a distractive point but a part that really belongs there. I think its only natural and just gives it a bit of a realistic point. But hey i cant disagree wiyh the artist's point of view, i'm sure u had ur own vision. But this is just my way of seeing it. Not in a pervy way ;)

I love how you portrayed the movement of her hair; it made it look so... well all I can think of is flowing, almost like water. Wonderful work!

Great work!
And I agree with you on the description as well...

I personally think the absence of them gives it a more surreal beautiful feeling rather than a stark reality, which the nipples would show. I prefer it this way. And it allows for the focus to be drawn more towards the figure's neck and collarbone, even more sexy and gives a mystique than showing her full breasts. The shape of the jawbone is beautiful too with your style of shading. I'm a big fan of your sketches and I just hope when I start figure drawing I can do half so well as you. XD
:iconnapoleoman:
thank you so much for the compliment!
:iconfetalnightmare:
lovely!
I love the cropped version!
It has a better composition then the photo, in my opinion. :D

Oohh, the line quality is so sensual and light. I love this. I love the texture too! What kind of paper do you use?
